In stunning fashion, the Bristol Cyclones won the Teamworks Warwick Thanksgiving Tournament. The Cyclones battled against the Coventry Hurricanes in their first game.  The older and bigger Hurricanes were a strong match for them as they finished the game at a 1-1 draw.

The second game of the competition pitted the Cyclones against the Coventry Ravens. This game found the talented Cyclones dominating the pitch throughout the game. Ultimately, they outscored the Ravens 5-0.

In the final match of the day, the Cyclones faced the team from West Warwick.  This game showed just how strong the team can be as they outplayed the West Warwick squad by a score of 3-1.

Next weekend the Cyclones will once again return to regular season play against the same West Warwick team. Come out for an 8:20 start to see some great competition.

The three BYSA U12 Girls teams swept the Fall Super Liga Championships by winning their 3 respective divisions.

  • Bristol Colts won the Anchor division with a record of 7 - 0 - 1
  • Bristol Huskies won the Classic division with a record of 7 - 0 - 1
  • Bristol Strikers won the Rhody division with a record of 8 - 0 - 0

This is a tremendous achievement by the girls and their coaches and they hope to continue with the excellent run by hopefully sweeping the Spring divisions as well.
