Bristol's small picturesque harbor is home to the Sandbar, a restaurant that offers some of the best clam chowder around. Locals dine on the Fish and Chips, Clam Cakes and other standard American lunch and dinner fare, and the feel inside the restaurant is definitely family-friendly. In good weather, order the Chowder and Clam Cakes then sit outside facing the harbor while you dine.
